Come and Join Us
The Western Australian Camera Club welcomes new members.
Many prospective members start by visiting the club for a meeting or two to help them decide whether they would enjoy participating.
All our meetings are open to visitors. We gather twice a month on Monday nights at 7.30 in the Tuart Hill Community Centre, Grenville Reserve, Corner of Stoneham and Cape Streets, Tuart Hill.
Applying for membership is easy.
Download and print the simple nomination form (click image at left) and lodge it with one of the committee members (listed here).
Annual fees are currently $60 (or pro rata for half a year if you join after June).
A once-only joining fee of $12 covers the costs of a badge and the membership joining pack.
The club conducts monthly competitions with six categories open to all members.
The syllabus prescribes a set topic for each month and open entries, where you choose the subject of the pictures, are also invited.
We also have separate Monochrome and Altered Reality/Creative sections.
An independent judge scores and provides feedback on all entries.

Workshops are also held regularly. These cover subjects of interest to members ranging from technical matters to talks on interesting themes.

A monthly outing or excursion is also scheduled.
These events focus on social interaction and group photography. They often relate to a location or venue of interest.
